(6 ene. 1878, Hinnerup, Dinamarca–23 abr. 1970, Esher, Surrey, Inglaterra).

Bailarina, coreógrafa y profesora de ballet británica de origen danés. Debutó en Noruega a los 10 años de edad. En 1897 la contrató el Empire Theatre de Londres y se convirtió en una de las figuras principales del teatro eduardiano. Después de 1909 interpretó ballets ocasionalmente que ella misma producía, como La danse (1912), que consignó la historia del ballet. En 1920 fundó una institución que en 1936 pasó a ser la Royal Academy of Dancing. Recibió el título de dama del Imperio británico en 1950.
